ARRIVAL
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Transfer to hotel and evening briefing with our team.

MACHAME GATE TO MACHAME CAMP
Drive to Machame Gate (1,800 m). Trek through lush montane rainforest to Machame Camp (3,000 m). Spot Colobus monkeys and birds!

MACHAME CAMP TO SHIRA CAMP
Leave the rainforest and enter moorland zone. Climb to Shira Camp (3,840 m) on the Shira Plateau with stunning views of Kibo Peak.

SHIRA CAMP TO BARRANCO CAMP (VIA LAVA TOWER)
Important acclimatization day. Trek up to Lava Tower (4,630 m) then descend to Barranco Camp (3,960 m). "Climb high, sleep low"!

Conquer the famous Barranco Wall! A thrilling scramble with incredible views. Continue to Karanga Camp (4,035 m).
